π Nissan Juke 1.5 Dci Engine Problems
Answered by Honest John. Unless the dealer will give you a five year unconditional guarantee that you will suffer no DPF problems with the 1.5DCI for five years, get the DIG-T 115 instead. This engine pulls the bigger Qashqai along adequately, returning high 40s mpg, so makes even better sense for the Juke.
Fill with New Oil. 13. Fully remove the oil fill cap atop the engine and, using the funnel, carefully begin to fill the engine with new oil. With a filter change, the oil capacity of the Juke's engine is approximately 4 3/8 quarts. I found it best to fill about 3 1/2 quarts of oil, then check the dip stick.
It's slightly quicker than the regular Juke and near-enough on a par with the rival Toyota Yaris Cross. The 0-60mph sprint happens in 10.1sec, although the hybrid system can be hesitant to give
1. Removed the plastic engine cover. 2. Removed the fasteners - 1-unclamped the cable, 2-unplugged the grey connector, 3-removed two 8mm bolts, and two 10mm bolts pointed by the arrows. Laid the black metal bracket to a side. 3. Pinched the PCV hose clamp with pliers and pulled the hose off PCV valve.

ββ (8/10) The Juke isnβt as fuel-efficient as more modern cars. The base petrol engine averages a middling 47mpg and even the downsized 1.2-litre turbo canβt crack the 50mpg mark. Diesels are better, though, averaging up to 70.6mpg and emitting 104g/km.
Bought new 2012 Juke SL 2 weeks ago. Left car outside last 3 night, and it got cold (40's-50 degrees). Engine will not start in morning. Engine will turn over but no firing. Had towed to Nissan yesterday, by the time they got it it was over 60 degrees outside and it started. They updated program from Nissan TSB Ntb12-073.
One frugal dCi diesel engine. Now the sole defender of the diesel faith in the Nissan Juke range is a Renault-sourced 110hp 1.5-litre turbo β badged dCi 110 β that offers 260Nm of torque, 0-62mph in 11.2 seconds and a top speed of 109mph, making it the quickest Juke available. It pulls strongly at low revs, but has its work cut out on

When the engine warms up the noise disappears. It happens between 1200-2500 rpm when the engine is under tension and less on idle.
Road Test of the Nissan Juke. Model/Engine size: 1.5 dCi Tekna. Fuel: Diesel. Fuel economy combined: 55.4 mpg. Green-Car-Guide rating: 8/10. The Nissan Juke crossover has mini off-roader looks that people either love or hate, but regardless of your views on the styling, itβs a great car to drive and in diesel form it returns a respectable 55

Hound, do you have the relevant diagram for the 1.6 Dci, as all information about maintenance of those engines seems to be almost a state secret After 105,000 kms., I suspect an EGR clean might be in order. Thank you.
New to the forum and apologies if this has been asked before. I bought a second hand Nissan Juke 2014 1.5 dCi (pretty sure it's the first generation) and she drives fine. I commute to my work (D-MODE to ECO) which is around 26 miles round trip, enough distance and time to run the engine properly.
If regeneration fails: Failure to react to the DPF warning light may lead to saturation of the DPF system. If this happens the Malfunction Indicator (MI) will illuminate indicating that a Service Regeneration by a NISSAN dealer or qualified workshop is required. The engine speed may also be limited to 3,000 rpm to protect the DPF system.
