🐈‍⬛ Bmw E90 Heater Blower Not Working

Location: Chicago. iTrader: ( 1) Heater failure/not working. Only under 500 miles and looks like I'll be heading in for service. Went for a drive tonight to check out some different settings with driver mode and adaptive suspension. It's in the upper 50's out here. Set the HVAC temp to 73F, fan about half way. heater on - blows hot air on passenger side, cold air on driver side I ended up scratching in the foot wells and checking the blower and Door Blend Actuator module, flaps all that nonsense. I even dismantled the actual motor that controls the flaps as this is sometimes the problem, that in the unit, the teeth break off (not my problem tho) In this video i carried out some diagnostic and repair work to our Right Hand Drive (RHD) BMW E36 323i Touring model after the heaters stopped working.I hope BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum > BMW E90/E92/E93 3-series General Forums > General E90 Sedan / E91 Wagon / E92 Coupe / E93 Cabrio > Very little heat and air mix flap motor not moving Google Search Search Forums Climate systems can have various defects, one of which may be in the indoor ventilation system, which although it indicates operation, the blower does not st Fan blower motor stopped working. I started my car this morning, and hit the defroster button The orange light speed indicator lines on the dash showed the fan running at the highest setting, but no motor noise, and no air. I tried all of the settings, including the foot, face and upper dash settings, and still no fan. So, refusing to beleive that the FSR was the culprit, I dug in the blower motor. After disassembling firewall to get at motor, I was horrified to find that the motor was now working! I stripped alittle bit of insulation from the motor wires, and checked the voltage. Everything appeared nominal there. Max voltage was around 6 volts. It seems to be more prominent when I first start off - even with the blower/fan at a low speed setting, I have a quite loud squeaking sound coming out of it! It's a bit like chirping crickets. Goes off after a while, and then seems to return a little intermittently, even with the fan at the same speed. Car is a 2007 E90 330i. This video shows how to test the rear defroster defogger system on a BMW E46 3 Series. This was a request from a subscriber with a 3 series with a rear defro Try replacing the heater control solenoid valve. Chances are you have coolant leaking passed the passenger diapghram thus causing the heating on the passenger side. I have had the same problem. Lucky for me I have my own A/C manifold guages and know that the freon level is properly charged. When you start the car, or just the AC system, and notice a knocking sound like someone tapping on your door, that is indicative of a problem with the blend door actuator. Inconsistent Airflow: If the blend door is moving back and forth, then the airflow will be diverted incorrectly or maintained incorrectly. Hello I am new to the forums.
